Help with Planning ApplicationsThis additional information will assist in making objections to or finding the details of planning applications. The Brighton & Hove planning depatment make it easy to do this, if you know how. Get your ideas together firstIs what is proposed good for East Brunswick? Will it be in keeping with a historic area like ours? Is it right for a residential area? Will it affect our lives? Is it even necessary? Type them up in Word so you can copy and paste them into the form when you are ready. Copy the application number AND the address from our planning news item ready to paste into the Council's objection form. Copy and Paste?Highlight the details you need with the cursor, holding the left mouse button down. Then click the right mouse button and select 'Copy' on the menu that comes up. Click the button for the Council's form then point the cursor to where the application details go, right click and select paste. Easy! Then fill out the rest of the form. Will it make a difference?Yes it will. If many of us point out the problems some of these proposals will create, the more the planning officers will take notice. If 5 or more of us object to a proposal then it has be decided by a sub-committee of councillors and they need our vote. They have to take notice! If you don't speak out, bad things will happen!
